How do you check the currency pouch in Runescape? ›

To access the currency pouch in the Legacy Mode interface, right-click the gold icon below the minimap, click "Currency Pouch", and then click the golden gear icon at the bottom right of the inventory. Opening the currency pouch in the backpack interface opens a list of premium and favourited currencies.

The pouch is protected by the player's bank PIN, however the money in the player's inventory is not. You will never lose money that is in the pouch, even if you die in the Wilderness. However, you WILL lose money if you withdraw it from the pouch and happen to die in the Wilderness.

Money can be withdrawn from the money pouch by right-clicking the icon (this isn't necessary, as all transactions can take place with money from the player's pouch). The pouch is protected by the player's bank PIN, while the money in the player's inventory is not.

Coin pouches are obtained every pickpocket from men, women, farmers, warriors, Al Kharid warriors, guards, Fremenniks, knights of Ardougne, and paladins. They can also be obtained occasionally from HAM members, rogues, cave goblins, Kharidian bandits, watchmen, gnomes, heroes, and elves.

Equipment Stats (also called equipment bonuses, combat stats, or bonuses) are the bonuses given by the armour and weapons that a player is wearing. The bonuses of a player can be found in the Worn Equipment section of the player interface.

Bad luck mitigation is a mechanic that can affect the drop rate of certain rare items or the chances of certain events occurring. When a player has not received an item by a certain threshold, the drop rate is altered so that players are more likely to receive it.

Maximum limits

The limit of coins stored in the money pouch is substantially higher at 2,147,483,649,147,483,647 (2.1 quintillion), which is approximately equivalent to 2.1 billion times 1 billion plus 2.1 billion (the exact formula is ( 2 3 1 − 1 ) × 1 0 9 + ( 2 3 1 − 1 ) ).

Coins in the money pouch are always kept on death, regardless of whether or not the player was in the Wilderness. Dying in the Wilderness while being opted into PvP will also cause untradeable items to either disappear, or be replaced by a set amount of coins based on the item.

To exchange your coins for cash, you can find a local bank or retailer that offers coin-cashing services. It pays to determine if a coin-cashing service charges a fee, so you can look elsewhere to avoid such a fee. Some coin cashing machines allow you to exchange coins for cash, gift cards or charitable donations.

Pouches degrade with use, and must be repaired by visiting the dark mage in the centre of the Abyss (or by contacting him with the NPC Contact Lunar spell) or they will vanish.

Players can have a stack of up to 28 coin pouches in their inventory, after which they must open them before they can pickpocket more. Players can quickly open a stack of coin pouches with a single left-click.

Beast of Burden (often abbreviated to BoB) is a type of Summoning familiar that has the ability to carry items for the player. To access their familiar's inventory, players need only to click on them, or interact with them and manually ask them to open their inventory.

Players can also utilise the price checker to lookup the price of any item available on the Grand Exchange, by clicking on the flashing yellow box at the bottom-left corner of the interface.

Players can check the details of their active Daily Challenges by clicking on the second tab from the left in the "Noticeboard". The newest challenge is at the top of the list. Free players are limited to having only two Daily Challenge at a time, while members may have five active Daily Challenge.
