The Fitness Plus general dress code and pool dress code are designed to keep members and patients safe, protect equipment and provide a family-friendly atmosphere. Membership requires adherence. Thank you for helping create a safe family environment for all!

Fitness Plus Dress Code - Saint Francis Healthcare System (1)

Tops: All tops must cover the entire torso. Tank tops and sleeveless shirts are permitted as long as the armpit gap is less than the palm of your hand. Ripped-out sides are not permitted. Bras worn as tops are not permitted. There should be no more than a three-inch gap between top and bottoms. Tops with offensive graphics or language are not permitted.

Pants/Shorts: Athletic attire is preferred. Pants must be free of belts, studs, rivets or zippers as it could damage equipment. Pants/Shorts must cover the entire buttocks. Undergarments should not be visible.

Shoes: Athletic shoes are preferred; all shoes must be close toed and cover the entire foot on the workout floor, track, gym and group exercise rooms. Sandals, flip flops, heels and muddy shoes are not permitted in these areas. Shoes must be worn at all times outside the aquatics area.

Allowed Pool Locker Room Attire

  • Long jammer swimsuits, briefs/short swimsuits or board shorts (for men)
  • One-piece, two-piece and tankini swimsuits (for women)
  • Wetsuits
  • Religious swimsuits
  • Rash guards, swim diapers t-shirts or athletic tops (for women) are allowed if worn over a swimsuit.

Disallowed Pool Locker Room Attire

  • Denim shorts
  • Underwear
  • Compression shorts
  • Athletic shorts
  • Running shorts
  • Sports bras
  • Revealing swimsuits/thongs and non-swim diapers
