How do you wash gardening gloves? ›

Gardening gloves can be washed with a load of similar colors and fabrics. Place them in a mesh lingerie bag for ease in keeping them together in the washer. To hand-wash the gloves, follow the same pre-wash steps. Use a regular detergent and cold water.

Cotton, Polyester, Nylon and Wool Gloves

All gloves made with these materials are safe to throw in the washing machine. If you're laundering cotton, polyester or wool gloves, use cold water and mild laundry detergent. For nylon, use warm water and mild detergent.

We recommend machine-washing your gloves in cold water using a mild laundry detergent. If you don't have a washing machine, we recommend washing your gloves in a sink using mild laundry detergent or dishwashing soap. Do NOT use bleach or solvents as these oxidizing agents can cause discoloration.

Soak in a Baking Soda Solution
