There is a new calculator trick that has gone viral after baffling social media by somehow correctly predicting everyone's age by only using their shoe size.
If you find yourself as perplexed by math as I do, maybe you're like many of us that couldn’t believe it when the trick managed to tell their age.
Among the many viral videos, TikTok user Georgie, aka @msmartinez_xx, shared a video to her account to showing how “mindblown” she was after trying the trick herself and instructing other viewers how they could do it too.
Georgie explained: “They say if you put in your shoe size, plus two 00’s minus the year that you were born, plus the year that we’re in now, you should get this number," as she showed the final figure was “338”.
She added: “The last two digits are how old you are or how old you’re going to be this year.”
Perplexed, the TikToker revealed, “I even tried it for my kid and it’s correct.”
But not everyone was convinced that this was magic, as one person commented: “People surprised it worked - it is maths - clue the show size adds nothing to this ‘trick’.”
