Mystical Mushroom Soup (2024)

Mystical Mushroom Soup is a RARE consumable unlocked in MushroomVII that allows players to fly on Private Islands.

Usage[]

When consumed, Mystical Mushroom Soup gives the player 200 minutes of flight on private islands. It also makes them invulnerable to fall damage while on their private island, which is useful when building farms. This soup can be a cheaper flight substitute for players without a Booster Cookie. However, the flight duration is limited and one should be aware if it is about to run out and drink more preemptively, or else you will fall and take damage or possibly die. The flight duration can be extended by consuming additional soup.

Mystical Mushroom Soup's duration will pause when leaving the island, resuming when one returns.

Warning messages will trigger when there are 60, 30, 10, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 second(s) left and when the effect runs out.

• This was announced by 12[ADMIN] Dctr, on June 4th, 2020.
• Although it requires 160 times as many resources as Magical Mushroom Soup, it lasts 100 times as long, making it a less efficient use of resources.
• It was previously known as "Super Magical Mushroom Soup".
• The max flight duration is about 596,523 hours, or 2,147,483,647 seconds, which is the 32-bit signed integer limit. This amount of soup would cost 1,126,322,928coins.
  • This record was discovered and reached by Cekofari. Upon reaching this limit, the flight duration timer disappears, flying gets disabled, and eating additional soup does not re-enable flight. The only known way to regain flight on the private island is to eat a booster cookie.
• The first record was held by Zylenox, who had gotten 520,000 hours of flight, which he explained would last until he died in real life^[1].
  • The next record was held by MaybeMoshi who beat Zylenox's record with 521,001 hours^[2].
  • This record was ultimately broken by Cekofari when he hit the limit of 596,523 hours.
• The Mystical Mushroom Soup used to have a different appearance and gave the Nausea effect when consumed.
  • The Nausea effect has been removed and Mystical Mushroom Soup was given a different appearance and not considered a Mushroom Soup from vanilla Minecraft.
  • The custom Mystical Mushroom Soup was added because the vanilla Mushroom Soup interfered with the mechanics of the soup and caused it to not stack when crafted.
